Final Set Setup
This is in 360 with the majority of the set consuming the room, i have set up lights around the perimeter and connected them to my shelfs, i bought curtain rods and screwed them into the wall vertically so that the fabric can wrap around that. My bed is hidden against the windows in the back, there is about a foot clearance around. The fabric appears smooth in the images, and works as a green screen. My theoretical methods are coming to flourish and it is a great feeling of confirmation, and no mistakes to correct..
As far as the images go, I have traditionally been taking them in increments, although the frame rate is choppy, it is consistently so, also some filters in the programs can smooth that out. Each Photo must be photoshoped to solidify the background, also color corrections and deeper contrasts are necessary.
As of now, up to the last image shown just before this post, I have a total count of 408 photos. This is some major computer work and I think my computer cannot handle it, I will try to easier on it, but its gotta get done! I am pleased with the composition of the shots and the balance of angles. I received a nice crit today in class, and now it is just waiting for them, tons of work for me.
As for the next 2 weeks, I will continue to finish filming. Surprisingly I was able to get a good chunk of filming done in one sitting, or squatting. A process book is due, as well as a way to present the work that went into filming without becoming overwhelming. That will come once the photos are in movie format. A good suggestion would to make a film, or make the same film and include cuts describing the anatomy of the scene.

Perspective
Great progress is being made. My schedule for the next week and a half is film at night, and edit during the day. I believe I can get major chunks of sequences done each night. Lastnight I filmed the introduction of the boy and the bridge. There is a prologue that I have to save for last because it is a whole other set. Editing takes the longest, I assumed that it would be arduous but I have to photoshop every photo and each one takes a chunk of time.. But the purple screen is working and the program cleans up the images nicely.
I believe that this is actually going to work... Pictures to be posted soon...

Progress 1
It has been a while since the last post but I have great news.. At last all of the physical work of the set is finished!
This is my room, I have purchased the lights and the 'green' screen, which is now purple because it is the only color not in my pallet. Lucky for me purple acetate is only $2 a yard :) |
I used polymer clay for the feet, but because they had to be directly added to the puppet, I made a makeshift oven with a box and a hair dryer to 'bake' the clay. 15 minutes and they were solid.. |
